This is the PC Card Manager v2.0 Software Development Kit for Macintosh PC Card products. It contains the development tools you need to develop PC Card client software for the following Macintosh computers:
PB 500 Series CPUs(w/updated PCMCIA Expansion Module, P/N M2995LL/C)
PB 500 Series CPUs (w/PPC Upgrade Kit and updated PCMCIA Expansion Module)
PB 5300 and PB 190 Series CPUs
To write PC Card clients for the Macintosh, you need:
• The PCMCIA v2.1 (or later) reference documentation, available from PCMCIA directly.

• "Developing PC Card SW for MacOS" documentation
• PC Card Manager v2.0
Part of System software for PB 5300/190 cpus, an add-in software package for
PB 500 series machines in conjunction with the PowerBook PCMCIA Expansion Module.

“Developing PC Card SW for MacOS” is the Macintosh reference document on how to implement the Cards & Socket Services specific portion of a PC Card client. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the PCMCIA v2.1 or later specification.
"MPQ_Program_Guide" outlines the Macintosh PowerBook Qualified program for Apple qualification of PC Card devices.
In the Software folder are two sample code projects, written in Metrowerks CodeWarrior. The source code should be readily adaptable to any C development environment for the Macintosh.
